2011 Year in Review

I got this idea from my friend and blogger, Elaine. The following is our year in pictures. We have had many changes, ups and downs, just like everyone...hope you enjoy!

JANUARY
The year started off with our new dog, Kisatchie. He has been a great first dog!


Forest turned 3 (or "flee" as he calls it) with a pirate party.


and he potty-trained!

FEBRUARY
I ran in the New Orleans Rock-n-Roll half marathon.


We went camping at Chicot State Park.


We spent Mardi Gras in Waxahachie.


The Blum side of my fam had our 1st annual cousin crawfish boil

MARCH
The boys started indoor swimming lessons at Love Swimming (this is in our tub, trying out the new goggles).


Deacon turned 5 with a Camping party


I rode on a horse for the first time! (kind of sad since my parents own a horse farm:/)

APRIL
Easter

Festival International

Mom and I celebrated our birthday

MAY
Elias finished up 1st grade in Chinese Immersion

Elias turned 7 with a super fun Science party

We finally had some success with our first batch of potatoes from our garden
(Elias named them "Earthbabies")

JUNE
Finally!! First tooth out!


Father's Day

We all participated in VBS at our church

JULY
We spent Fourth of July in Waxahachie.

Elias caught this massive fish!

AUGUST
First day of school!
(Elias started 2nd and Deacon starting Kindergarten and Forest is in preschool 2 days a week)

After 5 1/2 years at Great Harvest, Dallas says goodbye...this is his last day of work.

SEPTEMBER
Dallas' first day of work at Glazer's as a sales rep.


My sister and John get engaged!

OCTOBER
The last of our summer harvest

NOVEMBER
Elias and Deacon performed some Chinese songs at the Convention Center for Fall Frenzy


We took a day hike to Kisatchie National Forest

DECEMBER


4 teeth lost!



Well here we are at the end and I can't help but wonder what 2012 has in store for us!
